Half-Day Morning Trips

Lake Bridgeport Fishing Trips and Rates

I run one trip: a half-day morning trip for hybrid stripers and sand bass. You get the boat, the gear, the bait, and a guide who has fished this lake for more than 20 years. Here’s what it costs, what’s included, and what to bring.

Trips Run Year Round

There’s no off-season on Lake Bridgeport. I book trips all year, and I’m glad to talk through the best time of year for what you want to catch.

Trip Policies

No Deposit, No Risk

I don’t take deposits. If something comes up and you need to cancel, you won’t lose any money. Just let me know as soon as you can so I can open the date back up.

Weather Policy

The captain always has the final say on weather. Wind, lightning, and storms can make the lake unsafe in a hurry, and I won’t take a group out when it isn’t safe. If I call off a trip, we’ll pick a new date.

Trip FAQs

Is the $400 price per person or for the whole boat?

It covers the whole boat for up to three anglers. If you’re bringing four or five, call or text me for group pricing.

Can I bring a group bigger than five?

My boat holds five, but give me a call. For bigger groups, I’ve teamed up with other local guides to run two-boat trips.

Can I keep the fish we catch?

Yes. You’re welcome to keep fish within Texas bag and length limits, and I’ll clean them for you at the end of the trip. Plenty of days we throw back as many as we keep.
