I’m Zak Bracken, and Lake Bridgeport is home. I grew up on this lake and have been fishing it for more than 20 years. Most of what I know about it, I learned the slow way, by putting in a lot of hours on the water.

Growing up here gave me a head start. I’ve fished Lake Bridgeport through every season and all kinds of conditions, and I’ve learned where the hybrids and sandies like to be as the year goes on. That local knowledge goes into every trip I run.
What You’re Getting
Licensed and Full Service
I’m a licensed Texas freshwater fishing guide, and I run a full-service trip. I supply the gear and bait, rig the rods, run the boat, and clean your fish when we’re done. All you have to do is show up and fish.
The Way I Work
How I Run a Trip
I work hard for my clients. When the fish are stacked up, we get after them. When the big fish bite is tough, we stick with it and keep chipping away until we put a box together. And I’ll always be straight with you about how the fishing has been.
Safety comes first. I make the weather call on every trip, and if it isn’t safe, we don’t go. The business side is simple too: no deposit to book, and my rates are listed right on the site.
